Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 1 bell pepper, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 (15 oz) can black beans

  • 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans

  • 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes

  • 2 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • Salt + pepper

  • Optional: corn, jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Brown meat in a large pot; drain excess fat.

  2. Add onion, pepper, and garlic; cook until soft.

  3. Stir in beans, tomatoes, and spices.

  4. Simmer 30–45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Serve with cheese, sour cream, or cornbread.
