Cabbage Boil
Ingredients
1 large head green cabbage, cut into wedges
14–16 oz smoked sausage, sliced
1½ lbs baby potatoes, halved
4 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning (or seasoning salt)
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: onion slices, corn on the cob
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
Add sliced sausage and cook for 5 more minutes.
Add cabbage wedges and cook for 8–10 minutes, until cabbage is tender and potatoes are fork-soft.
Drain well, then return everything to the pot.
Add butter, garlic, Old Bay, salt, and pepper. Toss gently until butter is melted and everything is evenly coated.
Taste, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve warm.
